Wave generator comprising sixty 0.5 m independent flaps operated by hydraulic jacks

Waves generated are random and multidirectional:

  • 0.7 s < Tp < 4.0 s
  • max. wave height: 0.24 m

Wave generator:  2 fixed flaps with angular displacement around a bottom axis, operated by two hydraulic jacks

Rotating plate supporting the structure to be tested, 10 m in diameter, adjusted by an electric winch

Waves generated are random:

  • 0.7 s < Tp < 3.0 s
  • max. wave height: 0.220 m
  • max. water depth: 1.30 m.
