Physical modelling of as part of the supervision of works to protect La Croisette beach. The objectives of the study included:

• determining wave damping resulting from breakwaters made from geotextile tubes submerged at a depth of 3-4 m,
• evaluating beach changes during storm events in the existing situation and with various submerged breakwaters in order to determine their effect in protecting backshore facilities.
